Sheep farming has a long tradition in South Tyrol: around 38,000 sheep produce more than 50 tons of wool every year. Our raw wool comes directly from farmers in the Passeier Valley, Wipptal, Merano e Vinschgau ā regional, transparent, and with short supply chains. In our workshop, we deliberately process only a small portion of it ā about 3,000 kg per year. For us, itās not about quantity, but quality.
We focus on selected breeds such as the Tyrolean mountain sheep, whose wool offers ideal properties: balanced fiber length, natural crimp, and a rich lanolin content. This combination ensures durable, functional, and high-quality products.

Even in South Tyrol, a large amount of wool is still discarded ā a quiet issue that is rarely talked about. The reason: it often lacks value and demand. Because having a raw material is not enough ā it also needs people who consciously choose it. South Tyrolean wool is strong, durable, and rather coarse. Thatās exactly what makes it unique ā but also not suitable for everything.
We believe it requires more understanding from consumers. Why shouldnāt a jacket have character? Our goal is not to make wool finer and finer. Instead, we aim to better understand its natural properties and use them in a meaningful way. Only when we create products that people truly value will this precious wool
